YOUR OUTDOOR SPACE SHOULD BE A PLACE YOU ACTUALLY LIVE IN
Before anyone decides to change their outdoor space, there is always uncertainty.

What to do, where to start, how it should feel.

These projects show what happens when that you have clarity before anything is designed or built.

Spaces that were once underused or disconnected — now structured, simple, and easy to live in.
COTSWOLDS
Outdoor Seating - Everyday Calm

Before After
What was once an overlooked space is now somewhere to sit with a coffee in the morning, or unwind at the end of the day. The focus wasn’t adding more — it was creating a place that naturally draws you outside and feels easy to use.
“We had the space, but we never used it. Now it’s where we go without ever thinking.
WILTSHIRE
Outdoor Dining - Connection And Entertaining

Before After
Designed to connect house and garden. The aim — to make it easy to eat, host, and gather outside. By aligning the layout with how the family actually lives, the garden became a natural extension of the kitchen rather than a separate space.

“We always talked about eating outside, but never did. Now it just happens.”
GLOUCESTERSHIRE
Comfy Pergola Seating - Relaxtion

Before After
From an unused edge of the garden to a space that draws people outside and keeps them there. What was once an area just 'looked at', it has become somewhere to settle — a place to sit comfortably, slow down, and spend quality family time together. It works just as easily for quiet moments as it does for hosting — somewhere to gather before meals, have a drink, and ease into the evening.
“We used to stay inside without thinking — now we go outside all the time. The whole pace of the day changes.”
COTSWOLDS
Outdoor Games room - Family Living

Before After
A garden that works for real life. The focus was on how the family actually uses the space — movement, play, and time together. The result is a garden that feels open, flexible, and lived in.
“Now the kids are older, we needed a place for them to chillout. Their games room is such a great space for them to relax & play in. It also gets them of their tech, which is a game changer. My husband & I even use it when friends come over - so much fun. I would recommend one to all families."
SOUTH AFRICA
Wellness Space - Escape & Reset

Before After
A space to switch off. Set slightly away from the main garden, this area was designed as a retreat — somewhere quiet, simple, and separate from the day-to-day. The focus was on atmosphere, wellbeing & a place to escape everyday life.
“We didn’t realise how much we needed this — it’s become our reset space.”
CHELTENHAM
Pool Seating And Dining - Slow Living & Downtime

Before After
A space to pause. The pool was already there, but it felt isolated from the house. By rethinking the surrounding space, it became somewhere for long lunches, quiet afternoons, and simple moments outside.
“It’s completely changed how we use the space — it finally feels connected to the house.”
Each of the projects began at the starting point - a garden with potential, but no clear way forward.
The shift isn't in the build. It's in understanding how the space could work, and how it could feel to live in.
Once that becomes clear, everything else follows.
See how your garden space could work - before anything is designed or built.
